How we collect, use and look after your personal information.
Who we are

What we collect
When you send us an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number, the postcode of the property, your answers about the project (type of work, planning permission, rough budget and timing), anything you write to us, and any drawings or photos you upload.
We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. See our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and quote for your project. We do this because you have asked us to, as a step before a possible contract, and because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to people who contact us.
- To introduce you to an architect, only if you ask us to. We share your name and contact details with that architect with your agreement.
- To check in with you later about your plans, only if you tick the box asking us to. You can change your mind at any time.
- To understand how the website is used, only with your consent to analytics cookies.
- To meet our legal obligations, for example keeping records for tax purposes if you become a client.
Who we share it with
The companies that run this website and its enquiry form for us, our email provider, and, with your consent, Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity). They act on our instructions. We share your details with an architect only if you ask for an introduction. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records. Information about enquiries that don’t go ahead is deleted when we no longer need it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you’ve given. Email office@cloudnineconstruction.co.uk.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
